Bryan Cranston 3D Model

Here is my work of Bryan Cranston in 3D. I modelled everything in Maya and textured in Mudbox. Getting the mesh to flow naturally was a good challenge and I learned so much about Maya and Mudbox in this class that I will take into the future.

SpaceX Infographic – Motion Design

Here is an infographic for the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket I created for a small university project. All of the assets I created myself in After Effects and Illustrator. All information I gathered and wrote myself, while outsourcing the voice work to an actor in England. I am particularly proud of the opening sequence, but…

Woolies: Group Project Outcomes

After 12 weeks of planning and work, EEDDA can now reveal the trailer for our game, Woolies: My work for Woolies included writing and developing the initial concept for the game, including characters and story arch. I was responsible for animating the characters and cameras for the trailer, as well as lighting each shot. I…

Final Week

This is the final week for EEDDA before everything needs to come together for the presentation. There is still a lot left to do, so I am now back to helping out with animating the 3D trailer since we decided the poster design looked good (with a small change to the tagline). All that is…

Poster Designing

For EEDDA, I have been hard at work designing a poster. Thinking back to the overarching theme of mystery and diversity we have for marketing strategy, I decided to focus on one of the main characters in the design. What character creates the most mystery in our story? The Super Sheep. I decided to use…

Rejumble and Refocus

This week at EEDA we’ve had to have a bit of a rethink as to who is doing what. With the finish-line in site for the marketing project, it was clear that some people (mainly myself) were doing a little too much in the project. I’ve decided to step back from the 3D trailer building…

The Beginning of the End

With less than one month left in the project, it is now time to begin the final push to complete all of our marketing goals to the best of our ability. During our previous group meeting, we managed to get a lot more in-depth feedback for our presentation. Overall, feedback was good, however there were…

Looking Ahead – 6 Week plan

The presentation is over. Almost 30 slides and 20 minutes later of trying to explain and justify 5 weeks of work, research and thoughts, I’ve come to appreciate engaging presentations even more that I have in the past. It’s not easy. There were so many conversations and ideas that we couldn’t convey in the presentation,…

3d Progress and Market Research

For this week, we have really started to nail down the look and feel of our game. At almost the mid-way through the project, and the end of the planning phase, every team member now has a clear indication of what they need to get done for the remaining 7 weeks. Our 3D work is…

Sheeple – An EEDA Update

Our idea for a video game has come a long way in the last week. So has our Company – EEDA has a logo. We now have a solid premise, art style, list of characters and overarching narrative or message finalised. EEDA has begun to dish out the dirty tasks to the people we don’t…
